Wandsworth Heritage Talk

You are invited to the Wandsworth Heritage Talk with Mick Taylor, award-winning contributor at the Wandle Industrial Museum.

Mick will explore the story of the River Wandle — including the origins of Wandsworth’s name, its rich industrial past (featuring the Surrey Iron Railway), and the transformation of the area from industry to housing. In the second part of the session, he will focus on the people behind this history, highlighting artists and authors who have lived in and depicted Wandsworth over the years.
