Collaborative poetry improvisation workshop

Poetry improvisation is about trusting in your voice, opening up to others, and seeing where it takes you. We'll be bouncing our voices off one another and developing threads that sometimes twist together and sometimes spin off in their own directions.

Open to anyone who wants to be creative with words, this is the first in a series of workshops which will use breathing and relaxation, vocal warm-ups, stream of consciousness, movement, awareness of body and surroundings, and pairwork and groupwork to explore approaches to poetry improvisation.
