If you’ve a hankering for authentic Lebanese cuisine, then look no further. Ô Gourmet Libanais is the local hotspot for delicious flavours and a friendly welcome.
We caught up with Christian Feghali, one of the founding brothers of the beloved local restaurant, to find out more.
Hey, Christian! Start by telling us the story behind Ô Gourmet Libanais.
Ô Gourmet Libanais began as a shared dream – born not in a boardroom – but in a family car on a winding road in Lebanon. We stopped along the coast for a meal, and it hit us – this food, this feeling, this flavour of home – was not something we could find back in London.
Ô Gourmet Libanais is tucked away in the Battersea Reach development in Wandsworth, SW18 1GY. Our exact location can be found on our website or socials, but wherever you come from, we promise a warm welcome, and a seat at our family table.
What’s your favourite thing about our community?
The way people show up – not just for the food, but for each other. From regulars who bring friends week after week, to locals who stop by just to say hello, our customers have made this more than a business; they’ve made it a place of community. There’s something truly Lebanese about that spirit of connection, and it’s alive and well here in London.
If you could serve a delicious meal to anyone, who would it be?
We’d love to serve a meal to our Grandfather, who first taught us what real hospitality and kindness really means. He believed that food was a way of showing love, and we carry that lesson with us every day.
Are you running any special offers at the moment?
Yes, we’ve got something sweet lined up for you! We’re offering a free dessert with every main ordered. Whether you go for our classic baklava or another treat from the menu, it’s on the house.
Let’s be honest – we’re Lebanese… if you say you’re full, we just bring dessert! No such thing as full when mum is cooking; it’s the Lebanese way of showing love.
