Something exciting is coming to Wandsworth in time for the half-term break – Clip ‘n Climb.
We caught up with manager Simon to find out what you can expect when Clip ‘n Climb open its doors on 10 February.
Tell us who you are.
I’m Simon, I live locally and I’m the new manager of Clip ‘n Climb, Wandsworth.
Why Wandsworth?
I’ve always worked in the City, in finance, and whilst I enjoyed my job, when my son came along I found the long hours didn’t work well with family life; I was missing far too many bath and bedtimes. I also struggled to find things to do locally with my son, Jack, at the weekend.
I knew of Clip ‘n Climb, I loved the brand and the concept. I visited a couple of their other venues and knew this was the direction I wanted to take business wise, but also to give me that work/life balance.
What can we expect?
We have 27 fun and colourful climbing challenges, including the popular Stairway to Heaven and vertical drop slide.
We offer the best parties in town – if I do say so myself – with party rooms and packages to suit a range of budgets. We also have South Ridge Café where climbers and spectators can enjoy hot and cold food and snacks, including our delicious handmade pizzas.
We officially launch on 10 February, but we have a few pre-opening slots available from 7 February.
Is Clip ‘n Climb suitable for all ages?
Whether you’re four or 94, there’s something for all abilities, with various routes and challenges to suit your level.
We have mini mountaineer sessions for toddlers aged two to four, and you don’t have to pay if you’re not climbing, but you can still assist your child in the arena, so long as you’ve watched the safety briefing.

Are you running any introductory offers?
Yes! We have a free drink for climbers during opening weekend as well as the chance to win a free family climbing session. We also have a competition running across our socials to win one of five pairs of VIP tickets.
What’s your favourite thing about Wandsworth Town?
Southside shopping centre. It’s conveniently located and hosts a good variety of shops.
