Wandsworth Town’s biggest and free community music event will return on Sunday 9 June. Save the date for Old York Road Unplugged.
After an absolute scorcher in 2023, we have high hopes for this year’s event, but whatever the weather, we have a fantastic day in store for you.
Unplugged 2024 will feature two live music stages for your entertainment, featuring the best in up and coming local talent, as well as a few surprises. Our friends at Riverside Radio will also be running a live broadcast of the day’s events as well as hosting our main stage.
Expect big family entertainment with special appearances from the famous playful pair, Bluey & Bingo! There will also be kids’ rides and activities to keep the little ones happy throughout the day.
What’s a day of live music without some fantastic food and drink? We will be serving up a plethora of delicious dishes, including Caribbean, Greek and delectable desserts. And, of course, Unplugged is in the heart of Wandsworth’s culinary district with delicious options from Konnigans, Viet Town, Pad Thai Story, Megan’s, and more.
There are watering holes aplenty too. Located directly opposite Wandsworth Town Station is the beloved Alma pub, who’ll be serving everything from
thirst-quenching pints to popular cocktails. Fancy something softer? Old York Road is peppered with incredible cafes, like Cha Thai Story, E&H and Little Frenchies, serving everything from delicious shakes and smoothies to premium tea and coffee.
