Welcome to a new chapter for Wandsworth Town businesses.
We are excited to start work with you all in improving the town centre for everyone who visits, lives and works in the town centre, ultimately improving the footfall and spend in local businesses. Now that we have entered our second term as When in Wandsworth Town Business Improvement District (BID), we can start on some very exciting projects.
Upcoming projects and events include:
- Hosting the Old York Road (Unplugged): Jubilee Edition festival
- Installing improved signage and way finding around the town centre
- Planning the Christmas Light switch-on event
- Building a new website to encourage visitors and act as a go-to for all information for Wandsworth Town
- Creating a new reward scheme for people who work in the town centre
- Starting new sustainable initiatives to improve to make the town centre a cleaner and greener place, attracting more visitors and new businesses
