In collaboration with the London Singers' Collective, Emily Martin will be teaching select students (with observors welcome to attend) on 5th November, showing how the latest voice research from America can be put to practical use in daily singing, helping to build and refine your technique.

American soprano Emily Martin has built an international career as an opera singer, recitalist, and stage director, appearing with opera companies, orchestras, and festivals across the United States, Europe, and Australia.
Critics have praised her singing for its “enchanting iridescence” and “dramatic energy and skill,” and her performances include appearances with The Santa Fe Opera, Palm Beach Opera, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. A passionate advocate for art song and contemporary repertoire, she recorded Let Evening Come: American Songs Old and New (Albany Records), named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Best Classical Recordings of the Year. Her second commercial album will be released in June 2026.
Emily is an Associate Professor of Music at Bucknell University, where she directs the Bucknell Voice Lab and teaches voice, pedagogy, and entrepreneurship. As a Fulbright U.S. Scholar in the Netherlands, she has taught masterclasses and residencies internationally, including at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She is also trained in vocology through the Summer Vocology Institute at the University of Utah and is a registered yoga teacher, integrating principles of vocal health, movement, and wellness into both performance and teaching.
