What started back in 2013 as a birthday celebration in the beautiful setting of Morden Hall Park has grown into one of South West London’s favourite beer festivals. Inspired by our local river and our flagship Wandle Ale, the first Beer By the River brought together great beer, tasty food, live music, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

The festival quickly became an annual highlight, returning in 2014 and running in various Wandle-side locations through the late 2010s. After a short pause during 2020, we brought the party home to our new brewery in the Ram Quarter, Wandsworth in 2021.

Today, Beer By the River is still all about celebrating the best of Sambrook’s and our friends in the brewing world, alongside incredible local businesse and live entertainment. Whether you’ve been with us since the park days or joined us in the courtyard, we can’t wait to raise a pint with you again on Saturday 13th September.
